Primitive Dolls

Ferdie and Herm are very prim painted black dolls with shoestring hair. They are also available to be stained only. The doll faces are sculpted with painted eyes. They have individual fingers and sculpted toes. Ferdie wears a cotton print dress and osnaburg apron over muslin bloomers, and Herm wears flannel bibs over a cotton shirt, all stained to look really worn and dirty.

These dolls come as a set or can be sold individually.

Prim Mama and Baby Raggedy are perfect for the raggedy doll fan. They are made from muslin and wear cotton dresses all of which have been stained to look time worn and used. They have floss hair and their faces are hand stitched with floss. Mama is approximately 25" tall.

This set of very prim dolls is simply a prim must have. The girl doll has a sculpted nose, attached lips and painted eyes. Her hair is real sheep's wool. She wears a dress and head wrap of cotton homespun. She is approximately 20" tall. Her hands and feet are sculpted. Her little girl doll also has sculpted features and painted eyes, wool hair and cotton clothes. All have been stained and grunged. The sheep doll is stained muslin with a painted nose and eyes, and wears a rusty bell around it's neck.

This doll is a favorite to make. She has sculpted facial features, painted eyes, real wool for hair, her hands have individual fingers and her toes are sculpted. She get painted black then stained, or she can be coffee stained only with my coffee/spice stain. She wears a 2 tone dress over muslin bloomers and matching head wrap. I have given her a stained cheesecloth apron too. These are all stained to look old and well loved. The dress color will be yours to choose with your order.
